- The "best" crypto signals provider is the one whose full record you can check, losses included, before you pay a cent.
- Compare the real cost per signal, not the monthly price: a cheap subscription with few good trades can cost more than paying per signal.
- Speed matters: a signal that reaches you late is a different, worse trade.
Why "best" lists are hard to trust
Search for the best crypto signals and you will find rankings, many written by affiliates paid per sign-up. The problem is not that every ranked provider is bad; it is that the ranking rarely uses the one thing that matters, which is a complete, checkable history of trades. So instead of another list, here are the seven things worth comparing yourself. They work for any provider, including us.
1. A complete, public track record
Ask for every closed trade: date, pair, direction, entry, exit and result. Then count the losses. A real record has them. Ours is on the public results page: 511 closed trades, 403 wins and 108 losses (79%), each with its own page and a replay, like this SOL long that lost 46.19% and this UNI short that made 150.51%.
2. A stop loss on every signal
A signal without a stop leaves you to guess where the trade is wrong. Every provider worth paying for gives the stop up front. Our guide to stop loss and take profit explains why.
3. Results quoted honestly
Futures results are usually quoted at leverage, so "+150%" might be a 4% price move at 35x. That is fine as long as the leverage is stated. Be wary of big percentages with no leverage, no prices and no dates. Our ROE vs ROI explainer shows how to check the maths yourself.
4. How fast signals reach you
If a signal is posted in a channel you check twice a day, you will often enter late. The best setups are delivered instantly to your phone, ideally through a bot that pushes the trade the moment the desk enters. We send ours through @Signalspilotbot, by e-mail and on the website at the same time.
5. The real cost per signal
Most providers charge a monthly fee. To compare fairly, divide the fee by the number of trades you actually take. The example below is illustrative, not any specific provider:
| Model | Monthly cost | Signals that month | Cost per signal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription, busy month | $50 | 40 | $1.25 |
| Subscription, quiet month | $50 | 8 | $6.25 |
| Pay per signal (crypto) | Only what you use | Any | $1.00 |
| Pay per signal (forex/stocks) | Only what you use | Any | $3.00 |
Paying per signal also means you never pay for a month you were too busy to trade, and with us credits never expire and come back if a trade is cancelled before entry.
6. What they ask from you
A signals provider sends trade ideas. It should never need your exchange password, API keys with withdrawal rights, private keys or seed phrase. "Account management" offers, guaranteed returns and pressure to deposit on a specific exchange are reasons to walk away.
7. Markets and style that fit you
Some providers only trade spot, some only futures, some only forex. Check which markets they cover and how long trades usually last. Our crypto desk trades USDT futures, most often BTC, BNB, SOL, NEAR and ETH, with trades usually lasting hours to a couple of days; the forex and stocks desk covers major pairs and large US stocks. See our guide to crypto futures signals on Binance and Bybit.

If you want to test us against this checklist, start small. Signal Pilot sends the exact trades our desk takes, with entry, stop loss, targets and leverage, the moment we enter. You pay per signal: $1 for crypto, $3 for forex and stocks, minimum 10. No subscription, credits never expire, and if a trade is cancelled before entry the credit comes back.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best crypto signals provider?
The one whose complete record, including losses, you have checked yourself and whose trades you can act on in time. Use the checklist above on any provider you are considering.
Are paid crypto signals better than free ones?
Not automatically. Price does not prove quality; a checkable record does.
What win rate should a good signals provider have?
Win rate alone can mislead: a 90% win rate with tiny wins and huge losses can lose money. Look at win rate together with the average win and average loss.
How much do crypto signals cost?
Subscriptions vary widely. We charge $1 per crypto signal, minimum 10, with no subscription.
Where can I see Signal Pilot results?
Every closed trade is on signalpilot.site/results, and each has its own page.
Risk warning: trading crypto, forex and other markets with leverage carries a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you deposit. This article is education, not financial advice. Past results do not guarantee future results.
